Bangkok's air pollution crisis, government in panic mode - Feb 16
Thailand news - Thailand's PM and other government ministers are reacting to the poor PR and media attention over the ongoing PM2.5 and air pollution crisis in Bangkok, central and northern Thailand. Thailand's same-sex marriage bill will hit parliament soon for consideration, more over 'motorcade-gate' and the responses from government officials, a major makeover for the Jomtien Beach promenade and Phuket's airfare price-gouging.

Inside Bangkok's abandoned department store - BBC News
Few cities can rival Bangkok’s chaotic and colourful mix of modernity and tradition. Largely unplanned, the Thai capital dazzles visitors with its fast and furious pace, and its dizzying variety of architectural styles.
But the city’s galloping development has left some ugly eyesores in the form of abandoned buildings, some of which are in prime locations.
One derelict department store, though, has attracted the interest of a group of artists and architects, who have turned it into an art and light exhibit.
